This runner decided to make his own honey ... Now he's on a mission to teach others how to manage beehives of their own

Maurice Richardson, also known as Moe the Beekeeper, says a random video on the internet led him to start managing his own beehives. Now, as the founder of Diaspora Honey, the Maryland-based runner is on a mission to educate people about the health benefits of raw honey.

In the video below, Richardson, one of the many entrepreneurial-minded members of DC Run Crew, tells Sneaker Theory the story behind Diaspora Honey. He also reveals plans to expand his backyard business from four hives to 25.
